About me
I started Everlong to do one thing well: buy a great local business and own it for the long term.
My career has been a mix of strategy and execution. After running sales teams selling engineering consulting and software to industrials companies in the Midwest, I earned my MBA from Harvard Business School and spent several years at Bain & Company advising leadership teams and investors.
The most recent 5 years of my career were spent at one mid-sized company in operating leadership roles. There I built out ops functions, led strategic planning, and owned our portfolio of strategic initiatives, which led to successful execution of our management plan.
Now I’m applying that experience to finding the right company to acquire and invest personally and professionally in. I’m not a financial buyer looking to flip a business. I’m looking to be a stable, long-term owner who will respect the culture that’s already working and invest thoughtfully in people, systems, and growth. I want this business to be successful in its next phase of growth.
Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad of two. I like staying active, being outdoors, and keeping life centered on family and community. Most of my extended family continues to live nearby, and my roots are planted firmly in the region.
